🔹 Eligibility
- Nationality: Indian citizen.
- Age Limit: 18–25 years (as on 01-07-2025; DOB between 02-07-2000 and 01-07-2007).
- Age Relaxations: SC/ST (5 yrs), OBC (3 yrs), Ex-Servicemen, Sportspersons, Widows/Divorced Women, and Departmental Candidates of Delhi Police (up to 40–45 yrs depending on category).
- Education:
- 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized board.
- Relaxed to 11th pass for wards of Delhi Police personnel/MTS and certain departmental candidates.
- Driving License (Male only): Valid LMV (Motorcycle/Car) license at PE&MT time (Learner’s License not valid).
🔹 Examination Process
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE):
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Pattern: 100 questions (100 marks)
- General Knowledge/Current Affairs: 50 Q (50 marks)
- Reasoning: 25 Q (25 marks)
- Numerical Ability: 15 Q (15 marks)
- Computer Fundamentals & Internet: 10 Q (10 marks)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
- Languages: English & Hindi only
- Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT):
- Male (up to 30 yrs): 1600m race in 6 min, Long Jump 14 ft, High Jump 3’9”
- Female (up to 30 yrs): 1600m race in 8 min, Long Jump 10 ft, High Jump 3’
- Relaxations provided for age, category, and wards of Delhi Police staff.
- Height/Chest requirements with category-wise relaxations.
- Medical Standards:
- 6/12 vision without glasses, no color blindness, medically fit.
- Limited permissible tattoos.
- Document Verification (DV): Conducted by Delhi Police along with PE&MT.
- Final Selection: Based on normalized CBE marks + qualifying PE&MT & Medical, category-wise merit list.
🔹 Additional Benefits
- NCC Certificate Holders: Bonus marks (C – 5%, B – 3%, A – 2% of total marks).
- Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) Degree/PG Diploma Holders: Extra 2%–5% marks depending on class obtained.

- Mode: Online only via SSC website or “my SSC” mobile app.
- One-Time Registration (OTR): Mandatory (old SSC OTR not valid).
- Fee: ₹100/- (Women, SC, ST, Ex-servicemen exempted).
- Payment Mode: Online only (UPI/Net Banking/Cards).
