🔹 Post-Wise Details
1. Additional Government Advocate – Dept. of Legal Affairs
- Vacancies: 5 (UR-4, ST-1)
- Pay: Level 13 (7th CPC)
- Age Limit: UR – 50 yrs, ST – 55 yrs
- Qualification: Law degree + 13 years’ experience in Judicial Service/Legal Dept./Central Govt./Legal practice.
- Duties: Legal advice, handling government litigation, conducting court cases, administrative tasks.
2. Additional Legal Adviser – Dept. of Legal Affairs
- Vacancies: 2 (UR-2)
- Pay: Level 13
- Age Limit: 50 yrs (UR)
- Qualification: Law degree + 13 years’ experience.
- Duties: Legal advice, government litigation, court appearances, advisory work.
3. Assistant Legal Adviser – Dept. of Legal Affairs
- Vacancies: 16 (UR-9, EWS-2, OBC-3, SC-1, ST-1, PwBD-1)
- Pay: Level 11
- Age Limit: UR/EWS – 40 yrs, OBC – 43 yrs, SC/ST – 45 yrs, PwBD – 50 yrs
- Qualification: Law degree + 7 years’ exp. OR Master’s in Law + 5 yrs teaching/research OR 30 yrs as legal practitioner.
- Duties: Legal advisory, litigation, govt. representation in courts, admin work.
4. Assistant Government Advocate – Dept. of Legal Affairs
- Vacancies: 1 (UR-1)
- Pay: Level 11
- Age Limit: 40 yrs (UR)
- Qualification: Law degree + 7 yrs exp. OR Master’s in Law + 5 yrs teaching/research OR 30 yrs as legal practitioner.
- Duties: Legal & litigation work, advisory role, representation in courts.
5. Deputy Government Advocate – Dept. of Legal Affairs
- Vacancies: 2 (UR-2)
- Pay: Level 12
- Age Limit: 50 yrs (UR)
- Qualification: Law degree + 10 yrs exp. OR Master’s in Law + 8 yrs teaching/research OR 35 yrs as legal practitioner.
- Duties: Litigation handling, advisory functions, appearing in courts, legal administration.
6. Deputy Legal Adviser – Dept. of Legal Affairs
- Vacancies: 12 (UR-8, EWS-1, OBC-1, SC-1, ST-1, PwBD-1)
- Pay: Level 12
- Age Limit: UR/EWS – 50 yrs, OBC – 53 yrs, SC/ST – 55 yrs, PwBD – 56 yrs
- Qualification: Law degree + 10 yrs exp. OR Master’s in Law + 8 yrs teaching/research OR 35 yrs as legal practitioner.
- Duties: Govt. litigation, legal advice, court cases, admin roles.
7. Lecturer (Urdu) – School Education Dept., UT of Ladakh
- Vacancies: 15 (EWS-1, ST-14, PwBD-1)
- Pay: Level 09
- Age Limit: EWS – 40 yrs, ST – 45 yrs, PwBD – 50 yrs (5 yrs relaxation by UT of Ladakh for 2025–26)
- Qualification: Post Graduation in Urdu + B.Ed.
- Domicile: Only domiciles of Ladakh eligible.
- Duties: Teaching Urdu at senior classes, training trainee teachers, mentoring, exams, academic records, parent coordination.
8. Medical Officer – Health & Medical Education Dept., UT of Ladakh
- Vacancies: 125 (UR-11 [incl. 5 ALC], EWS-12, SC-1, ST-101, PwBD-5)
- Pay: Level 09
- Age Limit: UR/EWS – 40 yrs, SC/ST/ALC – 45 yrs, PwBD – 50 yrs
- Qualification: MBBS degree (as per NMC Act, 2019).
- Domicile: Only domiciles of Ladakh eligible.
- Duties: Clinical care, patient treatment, records maintenance, hospital admin, public health programs, emergency services.
9. Accounts Officer – Finance Dept., UT of Ladakh
- Vacancies: 32 (UR-2 [incl. 1 ALC], EWS-3, ST-27, PwBD-2)
- Pay: Level 08
- Age Limit: UR/EWS – 35 yrs, ST/ALC – 40 yrs, PwBD – 45 yrs
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree.
- Probation: Mandatory accountancy training + exam during probation.
- Domicile: Only Ladakh domiciles eligible.
- Duties: Accounts maintenance, staff supervision, bill scrutiny, financial management, budget, procurement & contracts.
10. Assistant Director – NCSC / MoSJE
- Vacancies: 3 (UR-2, OBC-1, PwBD-1)
- Pay: Level 10
- Age Limit: UR – 35 yrs, OBC – 38 yrs, PwBD – 45 yrs
- Qualification: Master’s in Social Work / Sociology / Economics / Anthropology / Statistics / Psychology / Geography / Mathematics (with Statistics) + 3 yrs experience in social surveys/research.
- Duties: Safeguards for Scheduled Castes, welfare monitoring, handling complaints, conducting enquiries, reporting, liaison with stakeholders.
🔹 Reservation & Relaxations
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years (for suitable/identified posts)
- Ladakh-specific: 5 years age relaxation (2025 & 2026) for Lecturer, Medical Officer & Accounts Officer.
- Domicile Requirement: Compulsory for Lecturer, Medical Officer, and Accounts Officer posts in Ladakh.
