Age Limit
- 18–36 years (Born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007, both dates inclusive).
- Usual age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules.
- Additional relaxation for officers in Technical Education Department (up to 10 years, max age 50 years).
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must have any one of the following:
- Technical High School Leaving Certificate with specialization in the appropriate trade.
OR - (i) SSLC or equivalent
(ii) National Trade Certificate in the trade / Kerala Government Certificate in Engineering Examination in the trade / Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate in the trade.
- Equivalency claims must be supported by relevant Government Orders/certificates.
- Higher qualifications recognized by Government are acceptable.
Probation
Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.

- One Time Registration via www.keralapsc.gov.in is mandatory.
- Registered candidates can apply through their profile using the “Apply Now” button.
- Recent photograph (taken within 6 months) with name & date printed at bottom is required (valid for 10 years after upload).
- No application fee.
- Applications cannot be edited or deleted after submission.
Exam & Confirmation
- If Written/OMR/Online Test is held, candidates must confirm participation via their profile.
- Admission tickets can be downloaded only in the last 15 days before the exam.
Special Instructions
- Caste/community discrepancies between application and SSLC book require Gazette notification & relevant certificates.
- False claims of qualification/experience will lead to disciplinary action, including disqualification or debarment.
