Recruitment Details

  • Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment
  • Age Limit: 18 – 36 years
    • Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 are eligible.
    • Usual age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates applies.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    • Master’s Degree in Chemistry (or equivalent branches of Chemistry) OR
    • Master’s Degree in Forensic Science OR
    • Master’s Degree in Biochemistry
    • Must be from a recognized university in Kerala, obtained through a regular course of study, with at least 50% marks.
    • For SC/ST candidates, the qualification requirement is the lowest class of Master’s Degree.
    • Equivalent or higher qualifications recognized by Government orders are acceptable.

Application Procedure

  • Applications must be submitted online only through One Time Registration (OTR) at Kerala PSC Website.
  • Registered candidates can apply through their profile by clicking “Apply Now”.
  • Candidates must upload a recent photograph (taken within 6 months, with name & date printed).
  • No application fee required.
  • Once submitted, the application cannot be modified or deleted.
  • Applicants must keep a printout/soft copy of the application for reference.

Examination Procedure

  • If Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted:
    • Candidates must submit confirmation via their profile within the specified period.
    • Only confirmed candidates can generate and download Admission Tickets (available 15 days before the exam).
  • AADHAR should be added as ID proof in the profile.

Special Instructions

  • Any difference in Caste/Community claim vs. SSLC record must be supported with Gazette Notification + valid Community/Non-Creamy Layer Certificate.
  • False claims regarding qualification/experience will result in disqualification, disciplinary action, or criminal proceedings.
  • Candidates must carefully follow General Conditions (Part II) of the Gazette notification.
