1. Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- 18–36 years (Born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007, both dates inclusive).
- Usual age relaxation for OBC, SC/ST candidates as per Kerala PSC rules.
Educational & Experience Requirements
- First or Second Class M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized university.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in conservation of archival records.
- Two years’ research experience in Chemistry from a government-recognized institution.
Preferential Qualification:
- Certificate course in conservation of records conducted by the National Archives of India.
2. Proof of Experience
- Candidates must produce Experience Certificates in prescribed formats for both:
- Conservation of archival records.
- Research experience in Chemistry.
- Certificates must include detailed employment history, nature of work, and verification by authorized officers.
- Bogus certificates will result in legal and disciplinary action.
3. Additional Notes
- Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by government orders are accepted.
- Degrees/diplomas from UGC-approved universities or legally established institutions are valid.
- The Master’s degree must be from a UGC-recognized university and approved by a university in Kerala.
4. Method of Appointment
- Direct Recruitment via Kerala PSC selection process.
5. Application Process
- Mode: Online only through One Time Registration at www.keralapsc.gov.in.
- Already registered candidates can apply via profile by clicking ‘Apply Now’.
- Photograph Requirements:
- Taken within last 6 months.
- Candidate’s name & date printed at the bottom.
- Valid for 10 years after upload.
- No application fee.
- Applications cannot be modified after submission.
6. Examination
- If a written/OMR/online test is held, candidates must confirm participation in their PSC profile within the specified time to download the admission ticket.
- Exam schedules will be published in the PSC Examination Calendar.
7. Special Instructions
- Discrepancies in caste/community details must be supported by a Gazette Notification and valid certificates at verification.
- Applications not following PSC General Conditions will be rejected.
- False claims about qualifications/experience will invite strict disciplinary/legal action, including debarment or dismissal.
