Recruitment Details

  • Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment
  • Age Limit: 18 – 42 years
    • Candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2007 are eligible.
    • Relaxation available for SC/ST and OBC categories.
  • Educational Qualifications:
    1. Degree in Modern Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent.
    2. Valid Registration with Travancore-Cochin Medical Council.
    Notes:
    • Rule 10(a)(ii) of KS & SSR Part II applies.
    • Equivalent/higher qualifications recognized by Government will be accepted (proof required).

Other Service Conditions

  • Defence/Compulsory Military Service:
    Appointees must serve 4 years (including training) during the first 10 years of service in Defence Services or allied assignments anywhere in India/abroad, if required.
    • Exemptions: Candidates above 45 years of age and persons with disabilities.

Application Procedure

  1. Apply online only through One Time Registration (OTR) on Kerala PSC Website.
  2. Already registered candidates can apply using their profile (User ID & Password).
  3. First-time applicants must upload a recent photograph (within 6 months, with name & date printed). Valid for 10 years.
  4. No application fee required.
  5. Applications cannot be altered/deleted once submitted. Keep a printout/soft copy for reference.

Examination Procedure

  • If Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted:
    • Candidates must confirm participation through their profile.
    • Only those who confirm can download Admission Tickets (available 15 days before exam).
    • Applications without confirmation will be rejected.
  • Aadhar must be added as ID proof in the candidate’s profile.

Special Instructions

  • Caste/community discrepancies must be supported with Gazette Notification + valid certificate.
  • Applications not complying with General Conditions (Part II of Gazette) will be rejected.
  • Submitting false qualifications/experience will lead to disqualification, debarment, dismissal, or legal/criminal action.
