🔹 Eligibility Criteria
🧭 Nationality
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
🎂 Age Limit
- 18–25 years as on 01.07.2025
(Born between 02.07.2000 and 01.07.2007)
⏫ Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (UR): 10 years; PwBD (OBC): 13 years; PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after military service deduction
- Departmental candidates (Delhi Police):
- UR/EWS: up to 40 yrs
- OBC: up to 43 yrs
- SC/ST: up to 45 yrs
- Widows/divorced/judicially separated women (UR/EWS: 35 yrs; OBC: 38 yrs; SC/ST: 40 yrs)
🔹 Educational Qualification
- 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized board as on the closing date.
- Typing Speed:
- English – 30 wpm or Hindi – 25 wpm
(Open and Distance Learning recognized by UGC-DEB are valid.)

🔹 Exam Centres
- Available pan-India, across 9 SSC regions (CR, ER, KKR, MPR, NER, NR, NWR, SR, WR).
- Candidates can choose 3 preferences for test centres.
🔹 Selection Process
There will be four stages:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE) – 100 marks
- Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT) – Qualifying
- Typing Test on Computer – 25 marks
- Computer Formatting Test – Qualifying

- Duration: 90 minutes
- Language: English & Hindi
- Negative Marking: 0.25 mark per wrong answer

🔹 Physical Measurement
- Male: Height – 165 cm; Chest – 78–82 cm (4 cm expansion)
- Female: Height – 157 cm
(5 cm relaxation for Hill Areas, ST, wards of Delhi Police personnel)
🔹 Medical Standard
- Sound health; vision 6/12 with or without glasses.
🔹 Typing Test on Computer
- Duration: 10 minutes
- Minimum Speed: English – 30 wpm / Hindi – 25 wpm
- Marks: 10 to 25 based on typing speed
🔹 Computer Formatting Test
- Qualifying in nature (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 6/10 in each
🔹 Tie Resolution
If two candidates score the same:
- Older candidate preferred.
- If DOB same → higher marks in CBE.
- If still same → higher marks in Typing Test.
🔹 Final Selection
- Based on CBE + Typing Test marks, subject to qualifying PE&MT and Formatting Test.
- Merit List will be prepared category-wise.
- Reserve List (15%) to be maintained by Delhi Police.
